Thor Lithium LLC- U.S. Battery Shipping Policy 

Effective Date: 1-1-2025

Thor Lithium LLC is committed to safe, reliable and timely delivery of our lithium battery products throughout the United States. This shipping policy outlines our procedures, responsibilities, and customer expectations for battery shipments.

 

1. Shipping Eligibility 

We ship lithium batteries to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we do not ship to U.S. territories or internationally. 

2. Shipping Carries and Methods

We utilize reputable carries that are certified and equipped to handle hazardous materials, including:

-FedEx Ground

-UPS Ground

-LTL freight for palletized or bulk shipment

Note: Due to federal regulations, lithium batteries cannot be shipped via air. 

3. Shipping Times

-In-Stock batteries typically ship within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.

-Custom orders or backorders may require longer lead times. Customers will be notified at the time of purchase. 

-Transit times vary by location but generally range from 2-7 business days.

4. Shipping Charges 

-Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and may vary based on battery size, weight, and destination.

-Free shipping promotions, when applicable, will be clearly advertised. 

5. Packaging and HazMat Compliance

All lithium batteries are packaged in accordance with:

- DOT (Department of Transportation)

- 49 CFR and UN3480/3481 regulations

- Carrier-specific HazMat policies 

Each shipment includes proper labeling, documentation (including SDS), and compliant inner and outer packaging to ensure safe transit. 

6. Receiving Your Order

Upon delivery, customers should inspect the shipment for:

- Physical damage 

- Missing or incorrect items

-Tampered packaging

Any discrepancies or issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting colbycannon@thorlithium.com.

7. Delivery Restrictions

- We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

- Residential deliveries may require a signature based on the order value or carrier policy.

8. Returns and Refused Shipments

Unauthorized returns or refused shipments may be subject to a restocking fee and return shipping costs. See our Return Policy for full Details.
