Go Further, Run Longer
Thor Lithium UTV batteries are built for the trail, offering extreme vibration resistance and a weight reduction that improves your vehicle's center of gravity and suspension response. Whether you’re running a 4,500 lb winch, a massive LED light bar, or a high-output sound system, our lithium cells provide the high-current discharge and rapid recharge rates that AGM batteries simply can’t match.
Power Up For The Trail
Yes. Unlike lead-acid batteries that use heavy lead plates suspended in liquid acid—which can crack or shed under heavy vibration—Thor Lithium uses solid-state Iron-Clad LiFePO4 cells. Our internal construction is designed to withstand the high-G impacts of desert racing, washboard trails, and extreme rock crawling without losing performance or structural integrity.
Weight is the enemy of suspension performance and hill-climbing ability. A standard lead-acid UTV battery can weigh between 25–40 lbs. A comparable Thor 12V 30Ah or 48Ah battery weighs roughly 8–12 lbs. Switching to Thor is the easiest way to shave 20+ lbs off your rig, improving your power-to-weight ratio and making your suspension more responsive.
Absolutely. Winches are notorious power-hogs that cause lead-acid batteries to sag instantly under load, which slows down the line pull and generates heat. Thor Lithium maintains a steady 13V+ output even under heavy draw. This means your winch pulls faster, runs cooler, and stays stronger until the job is done.
Yes, but you must choose the correct model. Starting an engine requires a high burst of cranking amps. We recommend our 12V 100Ah Starting/Deep Cycle or our high-output smaller units specifically rated for starting. These models feature a specialized BMS designed to handle the massive surge of an engine’s starter motor without tripping the safety shut-off.
One of the biggest perks of Thor Lithium is the ultra-low self-discharge rate. While a lead-acid battery can go flat in 30 days just sitting there, a Thor battery only loses about 2–3% of its charge per month. You can park your rig after hunting season and confidently expect it to fire up when you return months later—no battery tender required.
Thor Lithium is perfect for high-accessory rigs. Because you can use 100% of the rated capacity (compared to only 50% with lead-acid), you have twice the usable energy for your electronics. You can run your stereo and lights at the campsite longer, and thanks to our Bluetooth App, you can keep an eye on your exact percentage so you always have enough juice to start the engine.
