Lithium Chargers?
Yes. Our Two Bank and Three Bank 36V chargers are specifically designed for this “hybrid” setup. You can connect the 36V leads to your trolling bank and the 12V leads to your cranking or house batteries. The charger will manage the different voltages and battery chemistries simultaneously without any interference.
No. Similar to our 24V line, the 36V output is a dedicated Lithium (LiFePO4) profile. 36V lithium batteries require a very specific constant-current/constant-voltage algorithm to stay balanced and healthy. However, the 12V banks on our multi-bank chargers remain “hybrid-ready” and can safely charge Lithium, AGM, or Lead-Acid batteries.
A 10A output is the industry standard for 36V lithium systems, providing a perfect balance of speed and cell safety.
- 36V 50Ah Battery: ~5 hours for a full charge.
- 36V 100Ah Battery: ~10 hours for a full charge.
Since lithium batteries don’t slow down at the end of the charge cycle like lead-acid, these times are very consistent.
If you are using a single 36V battery, you simply connect the 36V leads. If you are using three 12V batteries wired in series to create 36V, you should connect our 36V Single Bank leads to the main positive and negative of the entire series.
For the best experience with three individual 12V batteries, we recommend our 12V Three Bank charger to ensure each battery is balanced individually.
Yes. If your trolling motor has pushed your battery into a low-voltage cutoff, the BMS will shut down to protect the cells. Our 36V chargers feature an automatic BMS Reset/Wake-up function. Once plugged in, the charger detects the 0V state and sends a wake-up pulse to restart the battery and begin charging immediately.
Absolutely. Our 36V chargers are IP68 waterproof and shock-resistant. They are designed to be on-board chargers, meaning they can be permanently mounted in your battery compartment or bilge. They handle the vibration of rough water and the moisture of a marine environment with ease.
