Warranty

Our Single Bank Chargers are backed by a one-year warranty.

Our Multi-Bank Chargers are backed by a two-year warranty.

We stand behind all of our products alike—check out our Warranty Page for more information. Our batteries and chargers are built to work as hard as the rest of your rig. If you ever have issues with your battery or charger, please do not hesitate to contact us and we'll see how we can help.

Single Bank (24V 12A)

The cleanest way to charge a single 24V Thor Lithium battery. Ideal for motorized kayaks and 24V industrial systems.

Two Bank (24V + 12V)

Rigging a boat with a 24V motor? This charges your 24V 63Ah battery (10A) and your 12V cranking battery (15A) at the same time.

Three Bank (24V + 12V + 12V)

For the pro rig. Powers your 24V motor and two separate 12V banks (e.g., Cranking + dedicated Electronics)

Not the right voltage?

If you're looking to bridge a different system, we offer dedicated 12V, 24V, and 36V chargers across our lineup. Ensure your charger voltage matches your battery voltage to prevent system damage.

Questions About
Lithium Chargers?

What size lithium battery charger do I need?

To choose the right charger, you need to match three things: Voltage, Bank Count, and Chemistry.

Check your Voltage: Ensure the charger matches your battery bank’s voltage (e.g., a 24V trolling motor requires a 24V charging output).

Count your Banks: How many separate battery systems do you want to charge at once?

  • 1 Bank: Best for single-battery setups.
  • 2 Banks: Ideal for a 24V trolling motor + a 12V starting battery.
  • 3 Banks: Perfect for a 24V trolling motor + two 12V batteries (e.g., house and starting).

Confirm Battery Chemistry: While our 24V banks are dedicated specifically to Lithium, our 12V banks are “hybrid-ready,” meaning they can charge Lithium, AGM, or Lead-Acid batteries simultaneously.

For 24V only: Use the Single Bank 12 Amp.

For 24V + 12V mixed setups: Use our Two Bank (24V 10A / 12V 15A) or Three Bank (24V 10A / two 12V 10A) models to charge your entire boat or RV with one plug.

Will this charger work with other batteries?

Yes. Our multi-bank chargers are designed for versatile setups. While the 24V bank is strictly for Lithium (LiFePO4), the 12V banks are built with a flexible algorithm that can safely charge Lead-Acid, AGM, or Lithium batteries simultaneously. This is ideal for boaters who use a 24V system for their trolling motor and a 12V system for their cranking or house batteries.

Why is the 24V bank limited to Lithium Only?

Lithium batteries require a specific charging profile (typically a constant current/constant voltage stages without a “desulfation” phase). Standard Lead-Acid chargers can damage lithium cells, and conversely, a dedicated 24V lithium profile may not provide the specific absorption/float voltages required to fully maintain a 24V Lead-Acid bank. To ensure the longest lifespan for your Thor Lithium batteries, the 24V output is precision-tuned for LiFePO4 chemistry.

How long will it take to charge my 24V battery bank?

Charging time is determined by the Amp-hour (Ah) capacity of your battery and the output of the charger. You can use this formula:

Charging Time (Hours) = Battery Capacity (Ah) ÷ Charger Amperage (A)

Example: If you are using our Single Bank 12 Amp charger on a 60Ah battery, it will take approximately 5 hours to charge from empty to full.

Do I need a special charger for my lithium trolling motor battery?

Yes. Thor Lithium batteries require a charger specifically compatible with LiFePO4 chemistry. Many modern marine onboard chargers include a lithium setting, but it is important to confirm compatibility before connecting. Using a charger designed for lead-acid or AGM batteries can affect performance and may void your warranty. Thor Lithium chargers are matched specifically to our battery chemistry and are the recommended charging solution for any Thor Lithium battery. If you’re unsure whether your existing charger is compatible, call us before you plug in.

My lithium battery is "asleep" and won't take a charge. What should I do?

Lithium batteries have an internal Battery Management System (BMS) that may “trip” or enter sleep mode if the voltage drops too low. Our chargers include a BMS Wake-up/Activation feature. If your battery isn’t being detected, ensure it is connected and the charger is powered; the charger will send a pulse to “wake up” the BMS and begin the normal charging cycle.

Can I leave the charger plugged in over the winter or for long periods?

Yes. Our chargers feature an Intelligent PGC Algorithm designed for “plug and forget” maintenance. Once the batteries reach a full charge, the charger monitors the voltage and only tops them off when necessary. This prevents overcharging and ensures your batteries are healthy and ready for your next trip, even after months of storage.

Are these chargers waterproof for marine use?

Our on-board chargers are built for the rugged marine environment. They carry an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning they are fully dust-tight and protected against long-term immersion in water. You can safely mount them directly in your boat’s battery compartment or bilge area without worrying about moisture or spray.
