It’s all about the conditions. If you fish in calm water for 6-8 hours, the 52Ah is a lightweight dream. If you are a tournament pro fishing 10-12 hours in wind, the 63Ah is the industry standard. If you are an offshore captain or a Midland oil field operator running pumps 24/7, the 100Ah is the only way to go.

It won’t increase the motor’s top-rated RPM, but it will make it feel faster all day long. Because lead-acid batteries lose voltage as they drain, your motor gets “weaker” throughout the day. Thor Lithium provides 100% torque and speed from the first cast to the last.

This is the most immediate performance mod you can give your boat. A traditional 36V setup requires three Group 31 lead-acid batteries, weighing roughly 210–225 lbs.
