Free Shipping
On All Lithium
Because we ship 'Hazmat,' these batteries require specialized handling. They won't always arrive at the same time as your chargers or accessories, which might ship via standard USPS or UPS. If your tracking looks strange or a box is missing, don't sweat it—just give us a shout. We track every cell until it’s in your hands.

We believe that getting world-class power to your door should be simple. That’s why we offer Free Ground Shipping on all battery and charger orders within the contiguous United States. No hidden freight fees, no weight surcharges—just iron-clad power delivered to your driveway, dock, or shop.
Processing & Lead Times
We know you have a trip on the calendar or a job to finish. We work to get our gear moving as fast as possible.
Order Processing: Most in-stock orders are processed and ready for pickup within 1–3 business days.
Transit Times: Once it leaves our facility (either from our Mississippi headquarters or our Midland, TX hub), typical transit times are 3–7 business days depending on your location.
Tracking: As soon as your order is scanned by the carrier, we will email you a tracking number so you can monitor your power’s progress from our floor to your door.
Hazardous Materials & Compliance
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are classified as Class 9 Hazardous Materials. This sounds intense, but it just means we follow strict DOT and international shipping regulations to ensure safety. All of our lithium batteries are packaged in accordance with:
- DOT (Department of Transportation)
- 49 CFR and UN3480/3481 regulations
- Carrier-specific HazMat policies
Each shipment includes proper labeling, documentation (including SDS), and compliant inner and outer packaging to ensure safe transit.
Ground Shipping Only: Due to FAA regulations, large lithium batteries cannot be shipped via air. All Thor batteries ship via specialized ground freight or parcel carriers.
Certified Packaging: Your battery will arrive in UN-certified packaging designed to protect the cells during transit. Please keep this packaging for at least 30 days in the unlikely event you need to return or exchange a unit.
Shipment Receipt & Damage
Our batteries are built tough, but the shipping world can be rough.
Inspection: Upon arrival, please inspect the box for any visible damage, physical damage, missing or incorrect items, or tampered packaging.
Reporting: Any discrepancies or issues myst be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If your order arrives damaged, take a photo and send it via email to support@thorlithium.com.
Where We Ship
Contiguous USA: Free shipping applies to the lower 48 states for orders containing Lithium Batteries.
Alaska, Hawaii, & International: At this time, we require custom quotes for shipments outside the contiguous US due to complex maritime and air freight laws for lithium. Please contact us directly for a quote.
PO Boxes: We cannot ship batteries to PO Boxes due to carrier restrictions on hazardous materials.
Returns & Warranty Shipping
We stand behind our 10-Year Iron Promise.
30-Day Return Window: If you change your mind, we accept returns on new, unused batteries in their original packaging within 30 days. (Note: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs).
Warranty Returns: If a battery is being returned for a verified warranty claim, Thor Lithium will coordinate the freight and handle the logistics to make it right.
