Thor Lithium was born from the shared vision of two family members who bring a wealth of experience—30 years in the battery industry, to be exact. One of them is a true battery expert who thrives on delivering top-notch customer service, while the other is a seasoned angler and charter boat captain, deeply passionate about the great outdoors.

We Didn't Just Discover The Battery Business.
We Were Raised In It.
In 1985, Brett Cannon's father left Interstate Batteries' corporate office in Dallas and bought a distributorship in South Florida. Brett was one year old. By the time he was ten, he was cleaning batteries on weekends. By the time he was an adult, he had run routes, managed inventory, worked the floor, and helped run the operation alongside his cousin Colby, who has been in the battery business for over 20 years himself.

Brett isn't just a battery guy. He's a tournament angler and professional fishing guide who spends close to 300 days a year on the water. When it came time to build Thor Lithium, he didn't send the batteries to a lab; he put them through the paces. He ran them himself, through a full season of guiding and tournament fishing, in conditions that break lesser equipment, before selling a single unit.
That's not a standard anyone else in this space is meeting, and is still the standard met today at Thor Lithium.
The marine and fishing community isn't just Thor's biggest market. It's home. We understand what's at stake when a battery fails at first light, miles from the ramp, with clients on board. We built Thor Lithium so that doesn't happen.
